Justice In The Hallway

A Bitter Stepmother Tried To Frame The Maid

Victoria tried to reach out and touch Julian's arm to calm him down.

Victoria: Please, Julian, think about our marriage and our reputation!

Julian: Touch me again and you will regret it!

Julian shoved her hand away with total disgust in his eyes.

Julian: Our marriage is completely over as of this exact second!

He turned to Sarah, his face softening with deep emotion and relief.

Julian: Sarah, dial nine-one-one immediately and report an attempted crime.

Sarah: Yes, Mr. Vance, calling them right away.

Sarah grabbed the house landline phone from the side table and dialed the police.

Victoria realized her evil plan had completely collapsed around her.

She turned around and tried to run toward the back door of the mansion.

Julian moved quickly, stepping in front of her path to block the exit.

Julian: You are not going anywhere until the police officers arrive!

Victoria: Let me go! You cannot hold me here against my will!

Julian: Watch me! You tried to take my son's life today!

Within five minutes, loud red and blue lights flashed outside the front windows.

Two city police officers pushed open the front doors and rushed inside.

Officer: We received a call about a child in danger here!

Julian: Officer, arrest this woman for reckless endangerment and child abuse.

Julian handed his smartphone directly to the senior police officer.

The officer watched the clear video footage of Victoria dropping the baby.

His face grew stern as he pulled heavy steel handcuffs from his utility belt.

Officer: Victoria Vance, put your hands behind your back right now.

Victoria: This is a misunderstanding! You cannot do this to me!

Officer: You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be used against you.

The officer snapped the cold cuffs around Victoria's wrists behind her back.

She screamed and kicked as they led her out through the front doors.

The heavy front door clicked shut, leaving the mansion peaceful once again.

Julian took a deep breath, holding his son tight against his chest.

He walked over to Sarah, who was leaning against the table, exhausted.

Julian: Are you okay, Sarah?

Sarah: I am fine, sir, just glad little Leo is safe.

Julian looked down at her bleeding knees and felt a wave of deep gratitude.

Julian: You saved my boy's life today when I was not here.

Julian: I can never repay you for what you did for my family.
